Before I get into this, I just have to say, this is pretty pathetic. Granted Lebron James left Cleveland in a classless manner, but one would think with all of the heartbreak in sports Cleveland has experienced they would have been conditioned to having their hearts torn out of their chests and stepped on. Guess not.
So Thursday night when Lebron James and the Miami Heat show up at Quicken Loans Arena, apparently it won’t just be enough for the Cleveland fans to boo him. Oh no, that would be letting him off lightly it seems. Instead, they’ve already issued several chants to show James their displeasure for him. After all what did he do in Cleveland except win 2 MVP’s back-to-back, take them to NBA Finals for the first time in club history and thrill the hometown fans every night with astronomical numbers and ridiculous feats of athletism for 7 years. What a loser.
So here are the chants they have planned:

Just a few closing comments: Firstly, calling Lebron James Scottie Pippen is a huge compliment, Pippen is one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players, he has 6 rings and he’s a first ballot Hall of Famer. Next, there’s no way anyone is remembering that chant to the tune of “My Country Tis of Thee” and it’s dumb. And lastly, what exactly is it that Cleveland Rocks in? As far as I know today, the best thing out of Cleveland is Kid Cudi. I just hope some crazy fan doesn’t get riled up and do something crazy to Lebron just to show how much Cleveland Rocks.
