bodog88-new-mdLast month the crazy cats over at Bodog announced that the actual best job in the world was up for grabs at Bodog88.com, the company’s Asian facing licensee. Bad news if you haven’t already put in your two pennies worth – the job’s already gone. You’ll just have to wait for the job of James Bond to come up again in a few years time.

After an extensive advertising campaign, including a very distinctive ad in the Financial Times, Robert Gustavsson has been appointed as Bodog88.com Managing Director. The 45-year-old comes to the position with extensive gaming industry experience having previously held directorships at both PokerRoom.com and Betway.com. Robert also brings marketing and media experience from his time at Metro, the world’s largest newspaper.

The FT Ad

Understandably elated at his appointment, Gustavsson said: “The advert in the FT was one that caught my eye immediately – it was typically Bodog, the post was irresistible and offers a challenge that I can’t wait to get my teeth into. Manila is a fantastic city and the potential for the business in Asia is literally limitless.”
