Tottenham Hotspur deal for SportingBet.com

sportingbetspursLeading online sportsbook and gaming operator SportingBet has announced the signing of a four-year partnership agreement with English Premier League soccer side Tottenham Hotspur.

The London-based operator stated that the deal will see it become the club’s official gaming partner with a brand presence inside its White Hart Lane stadium and within its communications channels.

“As a significant brand in the sports gaming world and with a strong passion for football, we are delighted to have SportingBet.com on board as the club’s official gaming partner,” said Daniel Levy, Chairman for Tottenham Hotspur.

SportingBet.com revealed that it accepts in excess of 42 million wagers on football every year with the sport representing 65 percent of its total sportsbetting revenues. It stated that it intends to use its new partnership with Tottenham Hotspur and the assets the soccer club will provide including hospitality and match tickets to ‘engage with the club’s established fan base and build the brand further internationally’.

“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, one of the English Premier League’s most established football clubs,” said Peter Dicks, Chairman for the operator’s parent firm, SportingBet PLC.

“We’re busy working with the commercial team at White Hart Lane to create new offerings that will produce benefits for both the club and its fans this season and are looking forward to a successful season in the English Premier League.”

This is the third football deal SportingBet.com has signed after it agreed a shirt sponsorship arrangement with English Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers before the start of the current domestic season in addition to a partnership with Championship side Leeds United.
