Malaysian authorities take down online sports betting ‘syndicate’

Malaysian-Betting-SyndicateAnti-vice outfits in Kuala Lumpur have arrested 17 people operating an international online sports betting ‘syndicate’ out of one of the city’s suburbs. Bet the vice squad got more praise from their bosses than that time they busted that 58-year old grandmother. Anyway, said ‘syndicate’ was said to have been operating for three years, handling up to 1M ringgit ($318K US) per day. Read more.
