Italy plays ball with European Commission

Italian gamingAll of those detentions, most of them the ignominious afterschool ones, must have done in the trick in Italy. The country’s online gambling regulator, and childishly behaved, Amminstrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS) is finally agreeing to work with the European Commission on Italian Gambling Laws.

It all came about when AAMS wouldn’t file the correct documentation with the EC, which they’ve now done, and it’s expected that the laws may be implemented by December. This all comes after litigation was sought by Microgame who thought the government were deliberately delaying everything, when all they were doing was being rather disobedient.
