Dominican Dominance: Big Papi wins Homerun Derby

At least for a few hours last night, Big Papi was back. We got to see that big smile and that over the top helicopter swing from David Ortiz that used to hit clutch homeruns in bunches for the Red Sox, but now, well he hits them in home run derbies. Ortiz edged out the young up and coming stud Hanley Ramirez to win the crown. It should be a proud Allstar weekend for Dominicans who are well represented at the Midsummer Classic with an extremely strong and deep showing of talented players. But then again, what else is new?
