Malaysian extremists now pushing for total gambling prohibition

Give ‘em an inch… Having strong-armed their government into reneging on a promise to make sports betting legal, emboldened Malaysian religious extremists are now pushing for a total ban on all forms of gambling. “We hate gambling” is the mantra of the mostly Muslim protesters, conveniently ignoring the fact that if you hate doing something, the simplest solution is to, um, not do it yourself.
