Sportbetting & Lotteries Asia: Welcome to the Dark Side!

Sportsbetting & Lotteries Asia Nighlife Lan Kwai Fong

Sportsbetting & Lotteries Asia Nighlife Lan Kwai FongNeed an excuse to travel to Asia this summer? Better yet, how about Hong Kong, one of THE greatest cities on earth? Sure, it’s hot as balls in the summertime, but I promise you the humidity and the profuse sweating is completely worth it. The shopping is amazing, the nightlife is amazing, and Beacon Events is putting on Sportsbetting & Lotteries Asia July 20-22nd and it is THE only conference specifically designed for the unique sportsbetting market in Asia.

This intimate and very exclusive conference combines western technical expertise with the savvy and market knowledge of Asian operators over the course of three days and features high level speakers who are very experienced in the region.

Who is going, what will you learn, and what is there to do at night? Have a look below and I’ll tell ya.

Who is going
Operators, bookmakers, racing clubs, lottery providers, casinos and their suppliers. This event all about quality not quantity, so expect an intimate atmosphere where you can meet new people, share some ideas, and have some real conversations.

What will you learn
You will learn how to make more profit and manage risk, best practices for odds-making and live betting, how to manage tipsters and high rollers, the latest on smart phone apps, improving content, how to find affiliates and agents, and the latest about regulation and legislation in the region. Seeing as the conference is purposely timed between the 2010 World Cup and the 2010/2011 football season, operators will be sharing feedback from the World Cup and plans for the upcoming football season as well.

What to do at night
Now for the fun part. Sportsbetting and Lotteries Asia will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui, conveniently located on the bustling island of Kowloon, otherwise known as “The Dark Side”. Tsim Sha Tsui, also known as “TST”, is famous for it’s incredible shopping, tons of bars with excellent views of the city, a large selection of restaurants and cafes, fake watches, and people who are aggressively trying to sell you those watches.

If shopping and crowds are not your thing, the island of Hong Kong has the nightlife I’m talking about, especially in Lan Kwai Fong, and area known for it’s 24/7 activity, posh clubs, lounges, and beautiful people. Go ahead and get yourself all dolled up and have a stroll through LKF at night- you’ll feel like you’re in Europe- an expensive city in Europe though because this part of town ain’t cheap.

For those of you who are really looking to misbehave, I suggest you get yourself to Wan Chai which is full of nightlife spots that all have one thing in common. Hookers. You’ll find really cool bars, massage parlors, karaoke bars, and strip bars, but just remember- all the ladies are for sale and if you decide to hit the strip bar, the stage is mediocre…all the real action happens in the Champagne Room.

Register Now
Sold? I thought so. Registration is available online and you will save money if you sign up early, so I encourage you to do it now. There are a several choices of passes depending on how much you want to spend and if you’re interested in a workshop, so don’t worry if you’re budget is limited. Other than that, enjoy the conference and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!
