According to Betfair, over 35% of all televisions sold in the UK by the end of 2010 are expected to be internet enabled, which is probably why Betfair TV has signed a pan-European commercial agreement with Korean electronics giant Samsung. Under the terms of the deal, the two companies will deploy sports betting and gaming applications on Samsung’s Connected TV platform, which is powered by the Yahoo! Widget Engine.
