Revenue falls, but Greek gaming monopoly beats expectations

The Greek gaming monopoly OPAP, like virtually every other aspect of the Greek economy, saw revenues fall over 6% in the first quarter of 2010, and operating income dropped almost 12%. But given the level of chaos in the country (and ongoing strikes by OPAP’s employees), analysts had expected much worse.
