A great surveillance video has been released showing a punter in a William Hill betting shop in Leeds knocking seven sacks of shite out of a would-be armed robber. The punter, 38-year old Martin Richardson, just happens to be a judo expert, but ultimately subdued the gun-toting robber by whacking him with a chair, then sitting on him until police arrived. While we applaud Richardson’s enormous balls, we’d be remiss if we failed to point out that this type of heroism isn’t necessary if you choose to stay home and place your bets online. Read more.
