I had tickets for the Europa League final, Fulham Football Club’s big match against Atlético Madrid. Unfortunately, the unpredictability of my schedule prevented me from traveling to Germany, so I ended up watching the match in a pub in London. Never say die underdogs (and Bodog Europe-sponsored) Fulham put on a very, very good show but ultimately went down to defeat in double overtime, just minutes from taking the match to a penalty shoot-out. Regardless, I am personally super proud of our boys. I have become a very enthusiastic Fulham supporter this season and I’m really looking forward to what they can do next year, especially with Roy Hodgson now committed to return as manager.
