Poker player to donate WSOP winnings to charity, but…

WSOPcashOperating under the banner of something he calls the World Series of Good, New York City poker amateur Michael Karnjanaprakorn (no relation to that unpronounceable Icelandic volcano, we think) has announced that he will donate 100% of his 2010 World Series of Poker winnings to charity. So far so good, but Karnjanaprakorn is relying on charitable donations to fund his $10G WSOP entry fee, which means that if he fails to finish in the money, that’s $10G that might otherwise have gone to some better charitable use than funding someone’s Vegas road trip.
