Harrah’s CEO Turns Focus To Online Poker

bodog-poker-girlGary Loveman, CEO of Harrah’s Entertainment Inc, believes the U.S legalization of online poker could bring in billions more in revenue to the world’s largest casino operator. He’s probably right, but I’m guessing he’s already aware it hasn’t actually been legalized yet. Or maybe it’s just legal for him, I wouldn’t doubt he’s got enough money to make that happen.     This fits in the “no shit sherlock” file. The bodog branded group has been pursuing this same strategy (minus all 15 Billion of Debt) for the last 16 years.

    That said, its nice to see the old guard finally agreeing with us…convergence in our industry is one of the big stories. But there will always be a spot for a well run niche brand.

    That said, its nice to see the old guard finally agreeing with us…convergence in our industry is one of the big stories. But there will always be a spot for a well run niche brand like Harrahs in the industry I am sure. :-)
