Watch out Indonesia, Big Brother is watching over you – again. After the planned bill to monitor internet content across the board was put on hold two months ago to gauge public reaction, a spokesman for the national police has warned that the infringement of public liberty monitoring will be stepped up in the run-up to the World Cup in order to guard against illegal internet betting activity. Bad news for the natives, no biggy for the foreign operators. “There is always the possibility that they are being handled from other cities or from overseas,” said one bright copper on his donut break.
