Anyone remember Victor Kiam, the guy who liked Remington electric shavers so much, he bought the company? His distant French cousin must be running national lottery operator Française des Jeux (FDJ), because just two months after signing a deal with software firm LVS to provide FDJ with a fixed-odds betting platform, FDJ has gone ahead and purchased LVS outright. It’s hard to say precisely what prompted FDJ to take this relationship to the ‘next level’ before the ink on their original deal had time to dry, so we’re just going to go ahead and presume that those LVS boys can suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.
