Smokin’ polls: Study claims public fine with net gambling

NorthPoleA lot was made of a recent poll that showed Americans weren’t down with online gambling. But an even more recent Ipsos Reid poll, conducted with both American and Canadian participants, shows that not only is the majority of the public in favor of online gambling, a growing number of them believe the activity is already legal. Overall, the inclusion of Canadians into the mix tilts the numbers into pro-gambling territory, so as far as our industry is concerned, the only poll that matters is the North Pole. Read more.
