Superbowl Week: South Florida Pops Off

southbeach-popping offThis year the Superbowl is being held in beautiful Miami Florida. It’s not just the millions of dollars that will be bet through sportsbooks and bookies on the game that garners all the hype, all week long South Beach will be popping off something serious.

In the craziest week in South Florida what do you do until the big game? I know what I’d be doing if I was one of the lucky bastards kicking it in Miami for the Suberbowl… Here’s how my first two days would play out.

Monday
Going Fishing! There’s an event called the Super Celebrity Fishing Classic Kickoff Party at the International Game Fish Association Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum in Dani Flordia, that would be my first stop. It’ll run you about a buck fifty, but hey, you could catch some big celebrity fish.

Next I’m off to the Celebrity Miami Madden Tournament to get my video gaming on. Admission runs at about $110. Finally, all those countless hours spent taking Madden to the lab, polishing my run plays, perfecting my QB rushes and kicking ass online will pay off. I’ll take on all contestants, talk a lot of shit to the NFL cats and run the table. I got something for you Chad Johnson or Ochocinco whatever your damn name is, I got something for you. Sure, the money goes to charities and helping the people in Haiti, and that’s great. I’ll still be mean muggin with my gameface on because when it comes to Madden I play for keeps, and the grand prize is 2 G’s.

After kicking ass at the Madden tournament…It’s time to check out the Superbowl Media Party at Paradise Live in Hollywood Florida, where they will be having a special showing of Thriller as a tribute to Michael Jackson. Sweet, I got my fishing on, my video gaming swagger and now I’m moon walking my ass off all night. Not a bad first day.

Tuesday
I’ll head over to the UFC Takeover event at the Bud Light Hotel and catch an exclusive exhibition of major UFC fighter showcasing their training techniques and various fighting styles, hosted by Rashard Evans and Dana White. After the show it’s the after party, where you can meet the fighters. I’m sure I’ll have to stand in line behind the groupies, but that’s okay, I’ll be wearing the tightest and smallest Tapout t-shirt I own. Hello ladies!

After filling up on bud light, I’ll be dead sober, so I might as well head over to the Beauty and the Beast event at Mansion hosted by model Amber Rose and pro baller Chris Johnson with DJ Kid Capri and DJ Khaled. Incredible music, models, drinks, celebrities and sports stars, should be a fun night.

And its still only Tuesday. Not a bad first two nights.
