Poker is a game that has simply caught fire across Canada and this new magazine will certainly position itself to cash in poker playing Canadians. Much of the Canadian gambling industry was trail-blazed by the self made billionaire Calvin Ayre, and it has continued to expand since. BC and Quebec Lotteries are looking to capitalize on this trend and the wheels seem to be in motion for Canada to create model regime for the gaming industry. And why not? Gambling revenues contribute to many of the countries faculties and charities and Canadians are among the chief gamers when it comes to poker both on the professional and amateur levels. Standouts like Daniel Negreanu, Evelyn Ng and two time WSOP bracelet winner Jeff Madsen are just a few of the outstanding poker players Canada has produced.
