Lyle Berman’s big gamble pays off

Lyle Berman, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner and founder of the World Poker Tour has just won his biggest gamble to date. Berman, the chairman of Lakes Entertainment Inc. (LACO), agreed to pay for 10% of the campaign to bring casinos to Ohio. His gamble paid off when the citzens of Ohio voted yes to the casinos which will bring Lakes Entertainment 10% of the profits of the casinos to be built. Read more…
