Bodog has made its latest step towards the goal of recruiting the very best people in the gaming industry by appointing a new CTO. Aussie Stefan Matthews is stepping up to the plate after ten years in a similar role at Centrebet International.
Stefan, commented, “The online gaming space is characterised by constant innovation and competitive pressure. Bodog, as an established brand and industry force, always seems to be seeking to challenge and change the accepted norm. Joining Bodog as CTO provides a great opportunity to work with a progressive management team who have the vision and commitment to further develop and expand their business.”
It’s safe to say that Stefan may also be able to teach the English a thing or two about the temperature that beer should be consumed at. As long as it’s not Fosters you should be okay, Stefan.
The Aussie continued, “For me, joining Bodog was an easy decision and I am thoroughly committed to working with what I consider to be an excellent existing IT team in developing the department in line with Bodog’s vision.”
Upon completion of the deal, Bodog UK CEO Patrik Selin commented, “IT is at the heart of any online business and in our industry it is vital to find somebody that understands, not just online gaming, but also has a desire to implement and even seek out new products and platforms as we evolve. Stefan’s industry experience, technological nous and business background make him an invaluable addition to our senior management team.”
