Becky’s Bender: Two free events, two fabulous locations!
Coming up in the next two weeks the gambling industry has their choice of two free events taking place in two fabulous locations. Some of us are a little weary after partying on a boat during the Lyceum iGaming Summer Social and flying down to Costa Rica for the booze and babes filled SBR Bash, but this is how we do it in the gaming industry.
Vegas Insider Football Handicapping Seminar- Las Vegas, August 26-28, 2011
Tonight marks the beginning of the Vegas Insider Football Handicapping Seminar taking place in Vegas at the Red Rocks Casino. Peter Gold of Vegas Insider has organized a FREE two day conference for sportsbook gamblers and handicappers with plenty of networking and social activities in between. Join the group tonight at Red Rocks for the opening cocktail reception and tomorrow at 6pm for the UFC 134 viewing party.

Poker in the Park- London, September 2-3, 2011
Poker in the Park is the world’s largest poker festival, taking place for the first time in London’s Hanover Square. In addition to a new location in London, the festival will be debuting a bar smack in the middle of everything sponsored by Playsafecard. The Playsafecard bar will be providing poker enthusiasts with beer, wine and spirits throughout the poker, live tuition, lectures, games and other poker related activities in the park.
Of course there is plenty to do after, during and before Poker in the Park seeing as its walking distance from Oxford Circus, the center of London, the center of the iGaming Universe. The central location is home to everything from pubs to lounges to roofdecks, restaurant bars, trendy clubs, private member clubs, strip bars, the Bodog UK office, you name it, its there!
On top of it all, the Poker in the Park organizers typically organize drink specials with local pubs during the day and arrange parties at night so keep your eye out for this on the schedule, I’m sure Caselli’s got you covered!
