London cabbies rated highest
Many of those in the global online gambling industry will know the drill. You rock up in a place unbeknown to yourself for a hearty session of gamblin’ drinkin’ and carryin’ on. The only thing bothering you is how you’ll be getting around and short of hopping on a Boris Bike whilst inebriated, the trusty cab is likely to be the port of call. As we know, it can be tough at 3am finding one of the damn things. A survey released today by Hotels.com tells you how hard it actually is depending on where you are.
The winner of the world’s best taxis went to the centre of the iGaming universe, London. 28% voted them the world’s best for the fourth year running and they romped home in five categories including safety, friendliness, cleanliness, quality of driving and knowledge.
As far as destinations frequented by the gambling industry fraternity are concerned, Sin City is right up there. Thankfully getting the cab from one strip club to the next before finishing up at the marriage parlor should be fairly easy according to the survey – it is the best taxi destination in the USA after all. Their cabs were rated top in the USA in four of the seven categories including cleanest taxis, best quality of driving, value and friendliest drivers.
