Sky Bet launches live streaming service with Racing UK

skybetSky Bet has launched a new live streaming service with Racing UK, allowing customers to stream live horse racing events straight to their iPhone and iPad mobile devices. Racing UK’s new ‘Bet to View’ offering provides optimised streams for the iPhone and iPad, with live coverage from all of the Racing UK tracks.

Sky Bet customers will be able to watch more than 4,000 races each year including the Grand National as well as the prestigious Cheltenham Festival for just a £1 stake.

Simon Brydon, director of business development at Racing UK said in the press release,“We’re delighted that Sky Bet are ready to launch this new service…The iPhone has been a revelation in terms of mobile media consumption and we’re delighted that racing fans can now bet and then watch every Racing UK race live on their iPhone…No matter where the user is, as long as they have a 3G phone signal, there’s now no reason for them to miss an opportunity to bet with Sky Bet and catch all the excitement of watching the race live.”

Ben Kamara, Sky Bet’s mobile product manager added in the release: “Racing UK’s new service is superb and we know racing fans all over the UK will enjoy being able to watch races on the go.”
