PafPaf will apply for a license to operate when the newly regulated Spanish gambling market opens for business. The Finnish-based group is seeking to obtain a license that will let them operate online games in Spain.

Cincodias.com reports that the company will consider the tax system in the company before confirming whether they will enter the market though. Albin Tiusanen, CEO of Paf in Spain, believes the “taxes paid by the sector should decline further to become more competitive.”

Sportium, the joint venture between Cirsa and Ladbrokes already unveiled plans to enter the autonomous region of Valencia and it now looks like Paf is all set to join in the fiesta. They are hoping to provide services by January 2012, Tuisanen did explain that, “Everything depends on how long it takes the Spanish Government to process the licenses.”

Meanwhile, “The Bonus King” has launched a new fantasy app in conjunction Fantasy iTeam. Unfortunately, it doesn’t involve Fred Done guiding you through a series of situations where you get to act out your favorite fantasies – it’s football-related though!

The 12-month agreement means that the Fantasy iTeam’s fantasy football manager app now carries integrated betting thanks to Betfred. Betfred’s Head of Media, Mark Pearson, quipped,”The beauty of this new app is that you can manage your team anywhere now and you can also have a little punt on the football. We are also incorporating social media to encourage banter which is what football is all about.”

The app can be downloaded for the entire Apple portable range with an application coming soon for those of us lumbered with an Android phone – of which there’s a a helluva lot. Fantasy iTeam Founder and Director Adam Patten commented, “The Fantasy iTeam app was developed solely with the mobile user in mind, so we are delighted to partner with Betfred who are focusing heavily on development of new smartphone customers.”
