Late Night Poker celebritiesCoral has become the new sponsor of the popular TV show Late Night Poker. The contract was up for grabs after Full Tilt Poker withdrew its sponsorship in the wake of Black Friday. The sponsorship includes four seats being put up for grabs that any member of the public can gain access to. Three of the seats, worth $10,000 a piece, will be available in a $100+10 qualifier at 8pm on 16th August. Feeder satellites will be running each day starting at $1+10c. The remaining seat goes to the Coral Late Night Poker Leader Board leader on 15th August.

In the past, winners have included Dave Ulliott, Phil Hellmuth, Huck Seed and last year’s triumphant contestant John Duthie.

888 Holdings has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution that will allow the company to develop branded games. It means that 888 can now develop games based on both Clash of the Titans and Nightmare on Elm Street.

Yaniv Sherman, VP of Business Development and Sales at 888, said, “This exciting deal marks another milestone for 888 in our pursuit of gaming excellence. We are thrilled to be working with one of the world’s most renowned entertainment companies and will be developing and deploying the new games this year and next.”

Unfortunately it comes around four months too late as far as Charlie Sheen branded content is concerned. His contract with Warner Bros. was terminated way back in March and we can now only speculate as to how epic a Charlie-branded slot might have been. Tiger’s Blood anyone?
