Apple’s long-running dispute with Samsung is rolling on as the two giants look set to go into battle in Korea. Seoul is the venue for Apple’s most recent mandate on June 22 in which they make similar accusations of copyright infringement to the action earlier this year. It relates to the striking similarity between the Samsung Galaxy S smart phone and iPhone 3G. You should really take a look – it’s staggering.
Samsung was already dealt a blow earlier this week when they were denied court-mandated access to Apple’s newest products NB. Samsung, you’ve been accused of copying their devices. Might be a bit cheeky to ask for a peek at the new one. Apple submitted a new version of the original lawsuit at the same time as this with significantly more detail than the April claim.
The dispute between these two will likely stay at the handbags stage as Samsung does much of its business with Apple. Steve Jobs’ corporation really shouldn’t be too worried unless Samsung whacks an Apple logo onto the back of the Galaxy S. Before that date, they’re never going to sell anywhere near what Apple does.
