888 Italy approval888 Holdings has passed the first phase of certification (“Collaudo”) in Italy as they get ever closer to tasting Mama’s secret recipe. Italian regulator AAMS awarded the certificate and it now means that 888 and its independent B2B division Dragonfish can offer world-leading gaming solutions to customers in the successful Italian market.

Itai Frieberger, 888’s Chief Operation Officer, said: “This successful certification of our products by AAMS further reaffirms our focus and commitment to the growing Italian eGaming market. We have been active under the Italian online regulated regime over the past few years, and we are looking forward to further bolstering our gaming proposition through our 888.it operation, as well as through our Dragonfish powered partners. We aim to present the Italian players with a world-class, fully localized gaming experience by leveraging on our 14 years of online casino excellence. We welcome new opportunities to grow our market share as Italy becomes increasingly active.”

888’s offering in Italy will include Dragonfish’s Total Gaming Services solution that offers partners a turnkey gaming operation. They will also offer customers the CasinoFlex product enabling Dragonfish partners to enjoy its gaming casino suite together with marketing tools.

Back in the UK, 888 Holdings Annual General Meeting (AGM) went off without a hitch yesterday as all resolutions were passed unanimously by shareholders. Issues that were approved included the re-election of Gigi Levy as a Director of the company. The AGM is the first since a much publicized reshuffle including the loss of Dragonfish CEO David Zerah and 888 B2C managing director Adi Soffer-Te’eni. Whether they finished it all off with a good old fashioned knees up or were in bed by 8pm isn’t known. If Ladbrokes turned up then 8pm is a distinct possibility.
