bwin live now on AndroidPwin has a treat in store for those with a phone running Google’s Android OS. The company’s popular “bwin live” app is no longer exclusively available to iPhone customers. The real-money live betting app allows users to bet on sports such as soccer, tennis, Formula One, football, ice hockey and skiing without the need to log onto a PC and/or Mac. Whether or not it includes a tab where you can change the layout to a CalvinAyre.com-inspired Pwin theme is not yet known.

Elsewhere, if you thought Scientific Games had been quiet for a while then there’s no need to worry any longer. The lottery supplier today inked a deal that will see them acquire gaming machine Scientific Games buys Barcrestmanufacturer and content provider, Barcrest Group, from International Gaming Technology (IGT). According to eGaming Review, the deal, which is for £33m in unused £50 notes, will only be completed once it has obtained UK competition approvals and certain third-party consents. A statement from Scientific Games also stated that it should be completed in the third quarter of 2011.

Another company that has been fairly quiet is Mfuse who today confirmed the appointment of a new business development director with immediate effect. Andrew Pegler, formerly of Chartwell Games and Jadestone, joins the mobile gaming supplier and will hope to build on the firm’s success in the future.
