Porn takes a bashing in the UK

Porn scares men in UKIt certainly seems like one of the top brass at the BBC has probably found one of their teenage sons watching pornography on the family computer over the past few days. This as the BBC has given coverage of a story about the subject a slot on the front page of their news site.

The story cites a survey carried out recently that seems to suggest men are scared by the amount of porn they watch. Now I’ve heard of being scared of a lot of things but this is a new developement.

According to the report a quarter of men aged between 18 and 24 are concerned by the amount of porn they watch with 4% reporting that they watch porn for more than 10 hours a week. It didn’t note whether these people ever leave the house.

It also notes that those who watch pornography regularly will see their behavior influence by it. In all seriousness did they expect people not to be influenced? It’s like the BBC coming out with a story about how soccer players down at their local park were imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal celebration from the previous weekend. It’s just not that eye opening.

One of the doctors from the Portman Clinic that helped to publish the report, Dr Heather Wood, said, “Those people spending large amounts of time accessing porn are not having more fun.

“They are more worried about themselves, more worried about what they are looking at, and report more relationship problems.”

So there you have it. If you’re in a relationship that you’ve lost patience with and want out, just use the excuse that you’ve been watching way too much porn. Less hurt in the long run.
