Apple show they have a heart

Apple has a heartOne of the most anticipated product releases in the history of the universe is expected to be delayed after Apple seemed to suggest that they do in fact have some kind of heart inside that smooth white exterior.

Technology blog Mashable.com is reporting the iPhone 5 doesn’t look like it will be unveiled at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) after today’s release seemed to suggest it will be a software only event.

The company’s press release ahead of the conference read thus: “At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS.”

Rumors are swirling that the main reason for the delay is that they’re attempting to pacify Verizon iPhone 4 customers who would understandably be up in arms about a new phone coming out just after they’d invested the best part of $300-400 on a cool piece of kit. You see I told you they have a heart!

Apple are expected to now wait for the fiscal year to finish in September or October to launch the phone and may also want to incorporate some kind of contactless Near Field Communication (NFC) chip technology. We outlined how this would be particularly beneficial to the online gambling industry yesterday and the fact that it might come to Apple’s iPhone 5 will only give more optimism to those in the mobile gambling industry.

Although delays are never welcomed by that many people, this one could also mean that the phones are infinitely better than they would have been in the first place so shouldn’t be met with masses of criticism outside the nouveau rich.

In Canada, we have 3 year contract when you buy an iPhone… releasing so many versions on a year or the following year doesn't make any sense, never got excited with the new iphones. It just makes me wanna hate my good old 3G's only more than a year old.
