You’ve heard the saying 30 is the new 20, and age is nothing but a number. But those are just sayings right? You don’t see too many 35-year-old men making another push to make the NFL, no offense Tiki Barber. But at a certain age, certain dreams are tossed out, that’s just the way it works. Don’t tell that to Laura Vikmanis.

Laura Vikmanis is an inspiration to all hot moms, cougars, and sexy soccer moms all over the world, it’s not too late to get out on the public stage and shake what you still have. At 42 years young Vikmanis is the oldest active cheerleader in the NFL and struts her stuff for the Cincinnati Bengals.

How did it happen? Well as the legend goes, “Vikmanis told her local Dayton Daily News in 2009. “I went to a couple games and saw the cheerleaders and thought that looked really, really fun.” It does look like a lot of fun, men have been saying that about cheerleaders for years.

After making the final cuts in 2008, Vikmanis broke through and made the team the following year. The story gained national attention and Vikmanis even has a film being made about her.

Thanks to Vikmanis more middle age men can now look at their middle aged women and say, why can’t you do that?

Let’s hope the NFL Lockout doesn’t last too long, Vikmanis isn’t exactly getting any younger.

As a side note, isn’t a Bengal a type of cougar? Love cougars, not so hot on the Bengals though.
