Mybet.com sponsors German national handball team

With expected changes to the sport betting legislative framework in Germany looming, companies are already make moves to increase brand presence, it’s one of the reasons bet-at-home.com is sponsoring the German ATP Open. Now myBet.com is following suit.

Kiel-based financial holding company JAXX sports betting subsidiary myBet.com, the sports betting is the new official partner of the German Handball Federation (DHB) and will sponsor the German national handball team until the end of 2012.

As sponsor of the national team, myBet will be demonstrating its support through its presence at all home games of Germany’s handball teams. myBet.com’s logo will feature on the floors of the playing areas and will also be visible on perimeter bands, on the sponsors’ boards at the press conferences and in the VIP lounges at the match venues.

“Handball is an extremely exciting sport that depends more than most on power, stamina, inspiration and speed, and it creates a fantastic atmosphere. Attributes that are a perfect fit for myBet.com,” explained Mathias Dahms, Management Board spokesman of JAXX SE in the release.

Dahms added in the release, “And the Germany national handball team enjoys an exceptionally good reputation. We are looking forward to this partnership generating a further boost to the image and recognition rating of myBet.com, which is already one of the most popular brands in the sports betting world.”

According to the release, JAXX SE sees myBet.com as the main building block of its strategy of expansion. With the impending liberalisation of the sports betting markets in Germany, JAXX aims to give myBet.com’s brand recognition a major boost and quadruple the number of users.
