calvin_ayre_nick_hillHappy New Year! Hopefully you have a big night out planned for tonight, but if not that’s fine too…you can live vicariously through the CalvinAyre.com iGaming party coverage from 2010. Welcome to the special New Years Eve edition of Becky’s Bender.

After a quick peek through the Party SINdex and the CalvinAyre.com video gallery, we can see that during 2010 the CalvinAyre.com team was present at approximately 45 iGaming parties taking place in London, Miami, Macau, Manila, San Jose Costa Rica, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Montreal, Prague, Vegas, Vancouver, Florence, Budapest, Copenhagen, and Madrid. I was present and reporting at 37 of these parties, meaning, I covered at least one party every 9.7 days for one year straight. Now that we have another reporter on board, our iGaming event and party coverage throughout the world will increase in 2011 and your chances of winning a DAF Award will be even higher!

bodog_speak_easy_socialBefore launching into the massive 2011 party agenda, lets remember some of the best iGaming parties which took place throughout the world over the past calendar year.

Top 10 iGaming parties of 2010

#10: BAC Sunday Networking Drinks- Budapest
This party makes the list simply because of the DAF Award recipient…Nick Richardson of iGaming Business arrived at this afternoon Sunday session without sleeping and in the same outfit from the night before.

#9: Speak Easy Bodog Affiliate Social- Budapest
The “Speak Easy” theme of this party was a huge hit for affiliates and friends with a very classy atmosphere, lots of whiskey, garter belts, guns, burlesque dances, live music and booze.

#8: CAC Amsterdam Day 1- Amsterdam
Who cares about the organized party, its Amsterdam! While there were not many people at CAC and zero sponsored parties, we had the time of our lives visiting coffee shops, smokin’ joints, eating space cakes, purchasing sex toys and misbehaving in general at the Euro Pub.

cac_amsterdam_sex_toy#7: JetBull iGaming SUPER Show Party- Prague
The venue of this party was simply amazing, The Martinicy Palace right near Prague Castle, and just about all of the SUPER show attendees were in attendance…that is until they left for strippers and lap dances at Darlings.

#6: End of Summer iGaming Social and BodogBecky Welcome Party- London
I don’t know what was in the air, but we all had a blast at this iGaming Social at the Kensington Rooftop Gardens. The BodogBecky/British flag branded cake and “birthday bumps” were pretty special too.

#5: EPO Opening Party- London
Karim Wilkins of RakeTheRake.com certainly knows how to have fun and it should come as no surprise that his EPO party at Movida was a blast. Poker pros such as Tom Dwan, Robert Williamson III, Mike Sexton, Andrew Robl and Liv Boeree were in attendance along with industry friends and dozens of starstruck EPO players.

calvinayre_com_poster-party#4: CalvinAyre.com Poster Party- Las Vegas
There’s nothing like meeting the iGaming forum posters that call you “BlowJob Becky” in person! This social at Noir Bar was a great place to meet posters in the flesh and the free bar had the most amazing custom cocktails and bartenders.

#3: iGB Affiliate Awards Jalouse After Party- London
At the conclusion of the 2010 iGB Affiliate Awards, many intoxicated iGaming industry professionals headed to VIP tables at Jalouse and proceeded to break a record…Jalouse made more money that night then any other night in the club’s entire history!

#2: Fire and ICE 2010- London
This party had naked chicks and a live goat. What else is there to say?!

And last but not least….

calvinayre_com_launch_people#1: CalvinAyre.com Launch Party and Calvin’s 49th Birthday- Prague
This was by far and away the best party of the year. Calvin wanted a “post apocalyptic” theme with midgets, guys on stilts, live pigs, mud wrestling women, an absinthe bar, fire, swords and a whole lot more and his party planning staff delivered it all. In fact, this party was so good that it was profiled in the January edition of Playboy magazine.

If you missed the number one iGaming party of 2010, not to worry, Calvin’s got an even bigger and better party planned in Dublin during the 2011 iGaming SUPER Show…the CalvinAyre.com One Year Anniversary and Calvin Ayre’s 50th birthday celebration. PLEASE- I beg of you- make it your New Year’s resolution not to miss this one!
