wsopc-eastern-regional-zynga-androidEven if he gets run over by a truck on New Year’s Eve, 2010 would still be a banner year for poker player Chris Bell. Having already earned his first ever shiny gold bracelet (and $327k) for winning the $5k Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event at this year’s World Series of Poker, Bell has now added a shiny gold ring (and $358k) for becoming the WSOP-Circuit’s Eastern Regional Champion.

Chris Klodnicki, who started the day as chip leader, was still there when the play got down to heads-up action, but after his his pair-6’s were trumped by Bell’s three-3’s, Klodnicki was forced to settle for second place and $221k. The rest of the final table cashed out as follows: Ketan Pandya – $159,851; Micah Raskin – $117,457; Todd Terry – $87,808; Andy Frankenberger – $66,758; Jason Burt – $51,607; Nick Mitchell – $40,538 and Seth Fischer – $32,362;

From big money to play money, Zynga’s Live Poker app is now available for Android smartphones via the Market. iPhone holders have been happily whiling away the hours with Zynga’s app since 2008, but with Android’s market share rising like Ron Jeremy at the crack of dawn, Zynga’s embrace of Google’s mobile marvel was a no-brainer. You’ll need a Facebook account to play, but thanks to Facebook Connect, all your stored up chips will be right there waiting for you once you log in.
