Leroy’s Sportsbook has a treat for football fans this season – provided you’re within Nevada state limits. Leroy’s, which operates some 58 race/sportsbooks in the state, will allow Blackberry users to place a sporting bet from anywhere in Nevada they can get coverage – home, the office, a public washroom at a truck stop in Reno, you name it. Plans are afoot to bring the service to other smartphones in due course, but fat lot of good that does you now, sitting on the bog with your iPhone in your hand and no toilet paper on the damn roll, right?
