Punter takes Murdoch to the cleaners

murdoch unhappyYou’d be hard pushed to find anyone outside of Liverpool who doesn’t embellish the pockets of Rupert Murdoch with some kind of loose change everyday – as the owner of News Corporation it’s hard not to. So when you hear of someone fleecing the old Koala it should bring a smile – even if it was only loose change for the media magnate.

A punter took Murdoch’s SkyBet for £500,000 over the weekend after correctly forecasting the outcome of a number of football matches. Rumours are abound that old Rupert will now hike up the price of The Sun to 21p, and add a levy of 25% on anyone who has the audacity to try betting at SkyBet on football again. Read more.
