The backlash of the ISPs in Lithuania

LithuaniaIf Lithuania’s anything like a lot of other Eastern European countries then gamblin’, drinkin’, and carryin’ on would well and truly be on the menu – poker’s even an official sport there for crying out loud. Unsurprisingly though, they’ve gone down the same road as most of the United States of Europe by regulating online gambling.

The government, however, has instructed ISPs in the country to block unlicensed gambling sites from operating, giving way to officially sanctioned ones only. The ISPs have lashed back, claiming that the system is impossible to implement and therefore they wont be complying. Bit of cooperation and common sense wouldn’t go a miss would it guys? Read more.
