Nats host stumbling Cards

The Cardinals have been looking very shaky lately, having lost 4 straight series to sub .500 teams. They head into tonights game has heavy favorites against the lowly Washington Nationals and they’ll be sending their veteran ace Chris Carpenter to the mound. Carpenter is 14-4 on the season, but if there’s a game the Cards could find a way to lose, it might be tonight, if only because the Nats are shitty. You see, after losing a series to horrible Pirates the Cardinals seem to only want to lose to the most shittiest teams in the league, the Nationals fit that description. But even I’m not willing to take the Nats as dogs in this one, Carpenter should mow through that lineup. Read more.
