Michael SchumacherAs a sportsman it doesn’t set a good precedent if you come across as weak, uncompetitive, basically all in all the nice guys rarely succeed in sport. Step forward Michael Schumacher. The German F1 driver has made a career out of being competitive and running people off the road on his way to victory-upon-victory.

It transpires the great man might well be softening up in his old age. Schumacher today apologised to fellow driver Rubens Barrichello for attempting to run the Brazilian into a brick wall earlier this month.
