Russian tycoon orders workers to obey God’s rules or be fired

Today’s entry comes to us courtesy of Russian billionaire Vasily Boiko, or, as he’s now known since he changed his name, Boiko-Veliky, which translates as (we shit you not) ‘Boiko the Great’. Bonkers, er, Boiko believes that the wildfires that have plagued Russia this year are part of God’s vengeance on the insufficiently-devout Russian citizenry, but rest easy, Russians, Boiko has a plan to make everything good with the Almighty.

“I need to take extreme measures including looking at the way my employees treat God,” says Boiko. ‘Extreme measures’ means that all 6,000 workers at his privately-owned dairy business have until Oct. 14 to get married, if they’re currently ‘living in sin’. However, not even Boiko The Great can save your job if you’ve had an abortion, because “we don’t want to work with killers.” Wonder how many of his employees want to work with megalomaniacal assholes.
