MLB Odds: Rays at Angels

The Angels lost a tough one last night to the Rays and the Angels just aren’t the team they used to be. Their bullpen has been spotty and they simply aren’t getting the run production and offensive execution typical of a Mike Scioscia squad. Tonight, the Angels will send Ervin Santana to the mound in the hopes of ending their two game losing skid. The Rays will send Wade Davis to the mound who has an ERA of 4.45, so you have to expect the Angels to put some runs on the board against him. Unless Santana can pitch deep into the game, you expect the Rays to get to the Angels bullpen and put some more runs on the board. With the Angels as -110 favorites and the Rays 4-14 SU in their last 18 games on the road, I like the Angels in this one.
