Material Girl heading to Vegas?

Madonna, Madonna, Madonna, its a shame those younger cats out there don’t know anything about the material girl. The first true woman’s sex symbol my virgin eyes saw. I guess Madonna would be kind of like the Britney Spears of this day, except, minus the white trash. For those of us old enough to remember, Madonna was IT. I’m talking Madonna was, “grab the pillow and put it over your crotch till this video is over, hot”.

I know I’m not alone, when I say, Madonna was one woman who accelerated my journey into manhood. She’s the original bad girl, she’s the original girl who played by her own rules by using her sexuality and her talents to their full capabilities. Without Madonna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Rihanna and all those pretty girls that shake a little booty to catchy hook, wouldn’t be around. She paved the way for many performers and women to use their sexuality, and she did it without a using a sex tape, although, I kind of wish there was one…As long as its not with Dennis Rodman of course.

Unfortunately, many of us, myself included never had the opportunity to actually see Madonna in concert live, but all that just may be about to change. Rumor has it that Madonna is in talks with Las Vegas to take up a five year residency, with a contract worth $1 billion. Read more.

If in fact Madonna is planning on taking up residency in Vegas, she’ll instantly become the toast of the town. The star power that Madonna would bring to sin city would be tremendous. No doubt, she’d be one more reason for me to make an extra strip to Vegas in the summer. yeah, I know she’s old, I know she’s a little more wrinkly than her material girl days, but hey, it’s fucking Madonna!

    thata a big 5 year payday….but grinding out the shows in Vegas is going to be hard work for an over 50 year old woman. Especially the way she likes to have action in her shows.
