BCLC’s revamped PlayNow fails to launch, reps plead for ‘patience’

BCLC-PlayNow-Fails-LaunchYou know, we were only half-serious when we said some book ought to put up odds on how long it would take BCLC’s relaunch of PlayNow to crash and burn, but even we wouldn’t have guessed the site wouldn’t even make it out of the starting gate. The Mark II version of PlayNow — the one that provincial regulators said was ‘fixed’ — was supposed to go live at 7pm PST, but it’s gone 11pm and the site still ain’t up. Okay, now we get it… We’ve all been Punk’d! Well done, Ashton… You really had us believing the province was actually serious about this online gambling thing. Read more.
