Sands China delays Cotai opening

Analysts have always expressed concern that the Macau government restrictions on construction projects, particularly on non-resident workers could cause delays for Sands China’s Cotai project. While Sands China representative CEO Michael Leven has dismissed much of his analysis, the fact is, the project is delayed nonetheless. Sands China, the Macau unit of Las Vegas Sands, has announced that a worker shortage will delay the opening of its new Cotai Strip resort until the fourth quarter of 2011 Read more.
