PartyGaming post 30% revenue jump

Party ScreenThere may well be a little more to celebrate at the civil partnership ceremony between PartyGaming and bwin than just the obvious, as PartyGaming saw a 30% growth in revenue in the first half of 2010.

PartyGaming’s statement read that the largest chunk of revenues was made in ‘acquisitions and strong growth in casino and sports betting,’ however, this did include the World Cup, it does look as though they could be on to a bwinner though. Read more.

    I have always been a big fan of Party Gaming and its original team. As everyone knows I don't think mergers are very often a good thing…but having this one work would also be a positive thing…I think anything that enhances the reputation of the industry as what it is, a global and mainstream entertainment channel, is good for everyone. Unlike say PC operating systems or even browsers….which are standards based to a certain extent….online gaming is brand driven so there is room for lots of players if you understand that you need to do brand differentiation to be relevant.
