Rod Wright wants California to join Jersey in sports betting bid

California-Wright-Jersey-SportsNew Jersey governor Chris Christie may have bailed on state Senator Raymond Lesniak’s push for legal sports betting, but California state Senator Rod Wright has wasted no time plugging the hole left by Christie’s retreat. Wright, who has led the push to bring legal online poker to his home state, doesn’t see why Nevada, Delaware and Oregon should have all the legal sports betting fun. “What is it about Oregon that gives them a privilege that a guy in San Francisco can’t have?” Wright, Lesniak and half the men in America await the answer to that question.
