And then there were three… After a thorough vetting process, Aussie gaming minister Tony Robinson has announced that Tabcorp, Tatts Group and Ladbrokes have been invited to apply for the state of Victoria’s lucrative wagering license. The license, a 12-year deal worth some $4B/per, includes the right to offer parimutuel and fixed odds betting on racing and sports, sole authority to offer bets via an off-course retail network and the right to create and operate Victoria’s only betting exchange.
