When you’re in Rome you do as the Romans do, when you’re in Hong Kong, you better not think of playing poker, a first time offense could get you up to 3 months in jail and $10,000 Hong Kong dollar fine. A Merrill Lynch banker found out just how serious the Chinese are about enforcing this law after he and his mates got, well lynched by the Hong Kong police for a friendly game of Texas Hold’Em.
