Tiger WoodsWith the last year or so he’s had, the news shouldn’t be any wonder to golf’s pimp-daddy. Phil Mickelson, or Lee Westwood, could pass Tiger Woods during this week’s WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, to become the World’s Number One golfer to end the animal’s five-year stint as numero uno.

This could be the first part of a double-blow for Woods, who looks like he could be set to miss out on this September’s Ryder Cup in Wales, as his ranking isn’t high enough, and captain Corey Pavin may be sceptical of picking the perennial Ryder Cup underachiever as a wild-card.
